Prepare and cook nutritious, well-balanced meals for residents in accordance with agreed menus and dietary requirements. Cater for residents with specific dietary needs, including allergies, food intolerances, soft/puréed diets and other special requirements. Follow food safety, hygiene and allergen-control procedures at all times. Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and food preparation areas. Ensure food is prepared, cooked, stored and served at appropriate temperatures. Follow portion-control and presentation standards.
